Bus Accident Injures 12 at Disney World
Twelve tourists were injured in a bus accident at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. One bus rear-ended the other, causing the collision. There were approximately 50 passengers in total on both buses, which were owned and operated by Disney for the purpose of transporting visitors around the theme park.
All of the injured passengers were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Only minor injuries were suffered in the accident. The timing of this accident couldn't be worse for Disney. It comes less than two weeks after one of their monorail pilots died in a collision with another train.
Thousands of tourists use Disney's park transit system each day in order to get around the sprawling resort. Disney has an obligation to their many theme park guests to provide safe transportation around the park. When the negligent actions of park employees lead to accidents that result in the serious personal injury of park guests, Disney can be held liable for damages in a premises liability lawsuit.
If you have been injured on someone else's property due to the negligent actions of the property owner or manager, please contact the experienced premises liability lawyers at The Cochran Firm today to schedule a consultation. We serve clients nationwide.
