Car Accident Leaves American Idol Contestant Dead
In the usually quiet town of Seaside Heights, New Jersey, a woman's body was found on a street, the apparent victim of a pedestrian versus car accident. Alexis Cohen, a former American Idol contestant who auditioned in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania two years in a row but never made it to the final ten, was struck by 23-year-old Tom's River resident Daniel Bark, who was arrested and charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
